Safiri debiuted in junior class (as well as in a hall) at Nowa Ruda National Dog Show, performing excellently. She became the Junior Winner.

Safiri "became a woman", erasing nearest future show plans from our calendar.

After weeks of stagnation, these pages have finally been updated.
11 September
Around 3pm, out of the blue, I decided to find out what's new on CNN and quickly realized it
was not a sci-fi movie I was watching. The North Tower was already on fire, the second one about
to be hit by the plane minutes later, than both collapsing - the view that had paralized me for
days. I will never forget this date neither will September 11th ever be a normal day of
my life.
18 August A new, promising ridgeback female arrived to Poland. Good luck to
Jola and Zula!

Sanna's ridgie girl Siiri (Ikimba Persinna),
a Multi Champion already, has finished her International Championship. Congratulations!
20 July
Safiri debuted in the puppy class at the Augustow National Dog Show. She was judged as Very
Promising.

I added this page to my website. As of today I can only go back in time, but from now on
I will focus on the days to come.

Vizara Dazi Yardena became Best of Breed at the
Cruft Dog Show 2001. Spectacular win over more than 100 ridgebacks entered and a great success of
Mariette and Rens, even better because of the fact, that last year's BOB and BOG were taken by
Yardena's litter brother Shemesh! 18 May
After quick and easy delivery, 11 pups were born at kennel
Harjaselän. 6 girls and 5 boys,
healthy, without sinus, not much white, correct ridges - ALL SHOW QUALITY!

The European Dog Show 2001 in Tel-Aviv took place. The BOB title was taken by
Zumeli's Ajabu. Ajabu was also placed as GROUP 3.
Big congratulations to Vera, Christina, and the New European Champion!

Two little ridged treasures made their way from Finland to Poland - Ikimba Samburu and
Ikimba Safiri. 8 April
Pasi received an official title of Polish Junior Winner, gained at three required shows.
Well, these were the only shows he's been shown at... And only once did we decide to wait for
finals, then Pasi was chosen as one of the 5 finalists in BIS Junior
(only 3 dogs were placed).
8 April
Pasi was neutered. I decided that he's not going to be a stud due to his entropion. It was a
difficult decision for me, another anesthesia, more pain...
